Research Workers:
The Trust’s main research worker is Dr Ian MacDougall, one of the leading practitioners in Oral History. As well as having edited most of the Trust’s publications, Ian is the author of numerous other books including, most recently, All Men are Brethren - Prisoners of War in Scotland, 1803-1814 (Edinburgh, John Donald, 2008). Ian has honorary degrees from both the Open University and the University of Edinburgh.
